im back !! (a day early) ((: got the date of return all mixed up haha. just got back last night (: i would say returning back here feels peaceful and quiet. haha. breathing feels much easier and you can cross the road without fear. 8 million people in ho chi minh with 4 million motorcycles. imagine the whole population in singapore with motorcycles. haha. still not counting the number of cars on the road!!
the trip was an experience. taxi fares are really cheap. as long as the journey is less than 4km it only cost $1.20-$1.50 haha. but there wasnt much to shop there. ohh but i will not forget to say that FOOD there is wonderful :p
much of the time was spent on learning about their history and culture. went to museums to understand what had happened during the vietnam war. was really shocked at the sight of them. oh no no one will be here after these two pictures are up. haha.
